The DCEU just introduced a lot of characters that could potentially play a part in the future of the franchise in Black Adam but there isn’t a good film without some deaths. Here are the status of everyone who appeared on the film to check who lives and who dies in it.
Who Lives in Black Adam?
Well, of course, Black Adam is alive in the end of the movie. He’s the titular character, it would be disastrous if he dies in his own film, right? While he didn’t promise to be a hero, he knows that sometimes, the world needs a little darkness, something heroes couldn’t do. Well, he remains at Khandaq as the protector of the place, his home, and also alive in Khandaq are Adrianna Tomaz with her son, Amon, and her brother Karim because apparently Karim would not die in battle or being shot but with electricity, and he is an electrician. While her drone may not be alive right now after Black Adam smashed it, Amanda Waller is still alive somewhere in the world where her location remains unknown due to the danger of her employment. Also making a brief appearance is Emilia Harcourt who is still alive, too. As for the Justice Society of America, Hawkman/ Carter Hall remains the leader of the group and he has with him Cyclone/ Maxine Hunkel, and Albert Rothstein/ Atom Smasher as they continue being heroes who forge peace. Unfortunately, they lost someone dear to them.

Who Dies in Black Adam?
The most painful death, possibly, in Black Adam is none other than that of Doctor Fate/ Kent Nelson. Doctor Fate sacrificed himself to buy them some time in facing Sabbac while he called onto Black Adam to help them and save Khandaq. Anyway, he already had a life well-lived and he is at peace with his decision. Then, there’s the death of Ishmael Gregor, a plan that worked too well for him. See, inscribed on the Crown of Sabbac are the words, “Death is the only path to life,” which ultimately sent Ishmael to the Rock of Eternity after dying so he could meet with the six demons and make him their champion. With the death of Ishmael, he became the vessel of Sabbac, which, in the end, died in the hands of Black Adam with the help of Hawkman and the Helmet of Fate where Hawkman outsmarted Sabbac having copies of himself to hold Sabbac down and for Black Adam to eliminate the villain.
