Who Is Animating Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War?

It appears that studio Pierrot will still handle the animation for the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime. Masashi Kudo will return as the character designer of the anime. Yamashita Hiroyuki joined the team to animate some of the episodes. He is known to be the artist behind some of Naruto: Shippuden’s episodes. Shiro Sagisu also returned to the team as the music composer. The anime had an advanced screening of its first two episodes on September 11, 2022. It has been confirmed that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will run for four cours, with breaks in between each cour.

What to Expect From Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War

Since the final chapters of the manga have been published, Bleach fans have an idea of what to expect from the anime’s plot, more or less. But of course, that depends on whether the anime will stay true to the manga or not. Based on the season’s title, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will feature an all-out war, so we expect that there will be a lot of action and fight scenes. We can expect to see the Shinigami and the Quincy in action like never before. Another arc means another set of characters, so we expect new faces and new abilities to be introduced in the anime. Will we love them or not? Fans will have to decide as the story progresses. Since this arc will wrap up the whole Bleach story, every secret will be revealed, including the true identity of Ichigo’s mother and the connection between realms. Some questions raised by fans might be answered too. The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc is one of the best arcs in Bleach, so fans are expecting a lot. In terms of animation and sequences, it is almost guaranteed that the anime will do as great as before because studio Pierrot will still be in charge of the project. We can expect that the animators will keep the anime’s tone and animation quality the same as before, or even better.
