After the news about Crunchyroll’s decision to recast some of the English dub voice actors of Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 broke out, Kyle McCarley released a video on his YouTube channel stating that he might never return for Season 3 as Mob’s English dub voice actor. According to McCarley, Crunchyroll refused his request to meet with the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) union representatives to discuss contracts for future productions. In return, Crunchyroll released a statement via email to the gaming website Kotaku, confirming that they will need to recast some roles as they will move the English dub production to their Dallas studio per seamless production and casting guidelines. However, ANN has since removed Jason Liebrecht from the role, making Mob’s newest voice actor unknown for the time being. Meanwhile, Reigen Arataka’s English dub voice actor for the previous seasons, Chris Niosi, is returning for Season 3.
