How Much of Spy x Family Did Part 1 Cover?
The first cour of the Spy x Family anime ended in Chapter 17 of the manga. Spy x Family’s final episode adapted an extra mission from Chapter 8.5 of the manga in which the Forger family goes out to have fun in the aquarium. Thus, the title of Spy x Family Episode 12 is Penguin Park. Initially, fans expected the first cour to conclude after the Doggy Crisis arc in Chapter 23. However, the final episode retains the extra mission to save up chapters for new episodes. How Much of Spy x Family Did Part 2 Cover?
The second cour of Spy x Family begins with Chapter 18 of the manga, which starts the Doggy Crisis arc. Not only did Anya meet Bond, but she also assisted Lloyd in her own little way. Following the conclusion of the Doggy Crisis arc, the second cour adapted Chapter 23.6 of the manga, in which Franky pursues yet another potential love interest. Yor’s determination to learn how to cook under Camilla in order to keep her role as Loid’s wife was also covered in the second cour. Furthermore, Anya and Damian worked together on a school assignment in which they were tasked with creating 3D animal paper models, with Damian taking first place. Anya and Damian also took their midterm exams, with Damian earning his first Stella. Daybreak debuted in the second cour after George Glooman hired him to sabotage Damian’s midterm exams. Yuri also appeared briefly after Yor asked him to tutor Anya. Later in the second cour, Nightfall made her debut as Loid’s assistant in the hospital where he was supposed to be working as a psychologist. She also met Yor and played tennis with her in the hopes that she would be able to take Yor’s place as Loid’s wife. Anya and Becky going shopping together was also animated, as was Loid having an odd romantic dinner date with Yor, during which the latter kicks him in the face. Where Does the Spy x Family Anime End in the Manga?
According to the preview trailer for Episode 25, the Spy x Family anime will most likely end in Chapter 38 of the manga, where Loid will finally meet and make small talk with Donovan Desmond, the all-important target of Operation Strix since the beginning. If Spy x Family adapts extra chapters, the anime will most likely end in the short mission in Chapter 51.5 of the manga, similar to how they did at the end of the first cour, where they adapted an extra chapter instead of continuing with the Doggy Crisis arc. Is the Spy x Family Manga Worth Reading?
Spy x Family is a worthwhile read for anyone who wants to keep up with the adventures and funny antics of the Forger family. It has over 70 chapters with 10 volumes released thus far.
