Marriagetoxin is a manga series written by Joumyaku and illustrated by Mizuki Yoda that combines action, comedy, drama, and romance. It launched on April 20, 2022, and is still ongoing, with no signs of ending anytime soon. As of writing, Marriagetoxin has produced two manga volumes with over 25 chapters. What Is the Plot of Marriagetoxin?
In Marriagetoxin, Hikaru Gero is a problematic young hitman who only wants to live his life dealing with the dark side of their family’s business. Gero had never gone to school, let alone date women, which is why he was willing to let the Poison Clan die with him because he was uninterested in marriage and personal relationships. He believes that marriage is not for him and that dating women is pointless, but when the Poison Clan matriarch forces Gero to marry in order to produce an heir, he is compelled to seek assistance from the beautiful marriage swindler Kinosaki. When Will Marriagetoxin Get an Anime?
Given that the manga only began in April 2022, information about an anime adaptation of Marriagetoxin is still scarce. In light of this, fans will have to settle for reading the manga since an anime adaptation of Marriagetoxin is unlikely to happen anytime soon. Not only will there be limited source material to cover, but the animation studios will also face continuity issues with the original creators. While some animation studios compromise to create an original story ahead of the manga, as Bones did with Fullmetal Alchemist in Fall 2003, other studios will not bother and will instead wait for enough source material to adapt. On the bright side, an anime adaptation of Marriagetoxin is highly likely in the future, given that it has already been nominated for Kadokawa’s Next Manga Award in the Best Web Manga Category in June 2022.
