Update: Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is now showing in North American theaters. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment already announced their global release plans for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, confirming that the highly-anticipated shonen movie will be released in North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, and the Middle East this summer, starting in August. Crunchyrolla officially announced that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be released in the U.S. on August 19, 2022. On May 12, Sony Pictures India also confirmed that the movie will arrive in theaters in India this summer.
