Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Rafe Lee Judkins, and it stars Holland as Nathan “Nate” Drake, a charismatic and good-natured yet rebellious trasure hunter. The film also stars Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. It was originally set to release in December 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its production faced major delays. However, Netflix India is unaffected by this delay with the film available as of July 12. Although it begins as a heist, the adventure turns into a globe-trotting race to acquire the treasure before the ruthless Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas) can get it. Although the film received mixed reviews from critics (40% score in Rotten Tomatoes), Holland was praised for his performance. The film grossed $401.7 million worldwide, making it the ninth-highest-grossing movie this year.
When is the Netflix release date of Uncharted?
Uncharted was originally set to arrive on Netflix on Friday, Aug. 19, but it was released on Aug. 5. The film was originally set to release on Netflix on July 15 but was pushed back for unknown reasons.
