Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 will be arriving on Netflix next month and to sizzle up its upcoming release, the streaming platform just dropped the new trailer for the historical drama series as it teases Leif, Freydis, and Harald living as outlaws. The trailer for Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 showcases the new locations for the series with Constantinople and Jómsborg in the heart of it, and gives a glimpse to what challenges await Leif, Freydis, and Harald. Indeed, fortune favors the bold as they go back to the basics, to fight in the survival of the fittest. A lot of things are revealed with the trailer of Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 with the characters possibly arriving near the gates of Valhalla with a boat ride through a waterfall.

Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 is the sequel to History Channel’s Vikings which is set a hundred years after the first show, by the start of the end of the Viking Age. Created by Jeb Stuart, Vikings: Valhalla Season 1 aired on February 25, 2022 with eight episodes and in a month, Season 2 has been confirmed for a January 2023 release. Not only that, the series already has Season 3 confirmed and in the works. The cast of Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 boasts Sam Corlett as Leif Erikson, Frida Gustavsson as Freydís Eiríksdóttir, Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Olaf Haraldsson, Bradley Freegard as King Cnut, Laura Berlin as Queen Emma of Normandy, Caroline Henderson as Jarl Haakon, and David Oakes as Godwin. Also in the cast are Pollyanna McIntosh, Soren Pilmark, Bradley James, Hayat Kamille, Marcin Dorocinski, and Sofya Lebedeva. Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 releases on Netflix on January 12, 2023.
