Who Are The Characters in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power?
These are the characters who will breath into life the story of Middle-earth during the Second Age in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will feature the arrival of Sauron and how he posed himself to be Annatar, the Lord of Gifts, and the fall of the kingdom of Númenor.
Morfydd Clark as Galadriel
Galadriel, the daughter of the Golden House, is one of the central characters in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power where she gets a new mission in life after the death of her brother. previously played by Cate Blanchett, Morfydd Clark takes in to fill the role.
Benjamin Walker as High King Gil-galad
The High King of Lindon, Gil-galad is one of the elves who stayed on Middle-earth by the end of the First Age. He rules the kingdom but has doubts on whether the peace would remain in the Second Age. Benjamin Walker fills in the role previously played by Mark Ferguson.
Maxim Baldry as Isildur
Played by Maxim Baldry, he is the predecessor of Aragorn who became the King of Gondor. Here, Isildur is an aspiring ship captain but in his heart, he knows he is made for bigger things such as being the man who would later defeat Sauron as the Second Age ends.

Previously the role of Hugo Weaving, Elrond is now portrayed by Robert Aramayo. The architect and politician of the kingdom, he has high ambitions when it comes to power. He is the Herald of the High King Gil-galad.

A mysterious figure in the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is The Stranger to be played by Daniel Weyman. While there is few information about his character, he is set to play a huge role, one that is pivotal as to what will happen in the series.

Queen Regent of Númenor is Míriel, played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson and she reigned during the time when the kingdom was still one of the most powerful. However, in the series, Númenor is about to fall as they are divided. Will she be able to keep the peace?
Lloyd Owen as Elendil
Elendil is the father is Isildur, another ancestor of Aragorn, and he is a ship captain who forced his son to follow his footsteps, little did he know, Isildur is meant for bigger and greater things.
Trystan Gravelle as Pharazôn

The very one who forged the Rings of Power, Celebrimbor was made to fall under the manipulations of Sauron who posed himself as Annatar. Celebrimbor also forged the three rings of the Elves, and he leads the Elven kingdom of Eregion.
Owain Arthur as Prince Durin IV
One of the Durin’s folk, he bears the name of the people and belongs to the Seven Fathers of their kind. Known for having a long life, he is usually called as Durin the Deathless. He is a Prince of Khazad-Dûm, a kingdom during the Second Age.
Sophia Nomvete as Princess Disa
The wife of Prince Durin IV, she is one of the pivotal people behind the rise of Khazad-Dûm during the Second Age. A powerful woman that she is, Sophia Nonmvete, the actress playing the character, is also the very first woman of color to play a dwarf.
Charlie Vickers as Halbrand
Not much is known about Halbrand but it has been seen that he is one of the warriors beside Galadriel in times of distress and they share a lot of near-death experiences bringing them closer together.
Sir Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows
Sadoc Burrows leads the Harfoots. As an elder of their people, the Harfoots look up to him for advice as he keeps an eye on them for their safety and away from trouble.
Ismael Cruz Cordova as Arondir
Not from the books but a special character just for the series, Ismael Cruz Cordova will finally have his dream come true to play an elf. A Silvan elf and soldier looking out for the people of the Southlands, Arondir fell in love with a human, Bronwyn.
Nazanin Boniadi as Bronwyn
Another new character made just for the series is Bronwyn, to be played by Nazanin Boniadi. She is a human native of the Southlands which made Arondir fall in love. A single mother to Theo, she is also a healer in their place.
Markella Kavenagh as Elanor “Nori” Brandyfoot
A Harfoot who first did a good deed to The Stranger, Nori Brandyfoot is from a nomadic family with her sister Poppy and father, Dylan. It is expected that Nori will play a pivotal role especially with the mystery character of the Stranger unfolding in the series.
Anson Boon as Sauron
Of course, Sauron, while he is yet to be seen in any of the teasers or trailers, he is the center of the series as he is the big bad who tricked the forgers to make the Rings of Power. Said to be evil, his menacing plans lead to the main story of The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power.
