Take on Me has been a popular song from the 80s. Sang by a-ha, they have their unplugged version where you could feel every single note and lyrics in the song as opposed to the lively original rendition. For those who played The Last of Us Part II, the acoustic version of the song was played. The Last of Us Part II has Take on Me played by Ellie as one of the most emotional sequences in the game that Naughty Dog published and given that the game will be having its own series, HBO and Naughty Dog made sure to insert this emotional scene in the upcoming live-action series. This is teased in the most recent trailer release for The Last of Us series where, in the final seconds of the trailer, Take on Me by a-ha could be heard in the background. While it may not be Ellie who would play her own rendition in the series, that is something that players are looking forward to seeing in the show.
