Last week, it was reported that former WB producer Dan Lin has been given an upgraded role as DC Films’ new executive which will take full effect after Walter Hamada steps down later this year. Now, more promising news for the future of the DCEU is coming to light and it’s going to please the franchise’s avid followers who have been longing for a drastic change.Turns out, the reason behind films like Shazam! Fury of the Gods and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom being delayed has something to do with Zaslav’s 10-year plan for the DCEU. According to tipster Syl Abdul, plans call for the said films, including Ezra Miller’s The Flash to be “retooled” to make the DCEU more cohesive. The bigger news to come out of it is that Henry Cavill will reportedly make cameos in both Aquaman 2 and The Flash as he gears up for his full-time return as Superman in various projects, including Man of Steel 2 moving forward.
