In Episode 6 of The Eminence in Shadow, the false Shadow Garden becomes murderous. Cid’s friends, Po and Skel, take him to a new department store where they find out that Gamma, a Shadow Seven member, opened the store to fund the Shadow Garden. Cid is once again oblivious and convinced that Gamma is simply pretending. Funnily enough, he is also unaware of the wealth Gamma’s endeavor has afforded him. Cid also meets Nu, the newest team member. Later, Cid spots Alexia fighting criminals and he rushes to her aid. Alexia confirms that Shadow Garden is not the real culprit, though Iris still insists they are enemies of the kingdom. Skel and Po both try to confess to girls they like with chocolates from Cid’s ship but the former is attacked by the girl’s fiancé and the latter is arrested as a stalker. When Cid gives the remaining chocolate to Sherry, without meaning anything by it, Sherry’s adoptive father, Vice Principal Ruslan, reads it as a love confession and tells her to decide on her answer as soon as possible.
