Stranger Things Season 4 finale left one of the biggest cliffhangers to ever exist for the whole series and it fits the narrative as Season 5 marks the end of the show.
Following the explosive finale, just a month after its release, the writers of Stranger Things are back to work as they start doing Season 5 and they mark their first day with a photo they shared on Twitter where they drew the logo of the upcoming fifth installment of the series.
Stranger Things Season 5 is expected to be the last installment of the series where the Hakwins gang would be facing the biggest threat to date: the Upside Down slowly taking over Hawkins following the success of Vecna’s plans of opening small gates that led to a big one.
A lot of things remain in question for Stranger Things Season 5 to answer like Max’s life hanging on the balance, Will’s connection to Vecna through the Mind Flayer, what happened to Vecna after Nancy, Robin, and Steve attacked him, and what comes next for Hawkins after the gates to the Upside Down opened.
