Sadie Sink recently spoke to ExtraTV where she was asked about the speculations on her MCU casting. Interestingly, the Fear Street Part Two: 1978 star pointed out that these are only fan castings and that there is no truth behind them. “I saw this. I’m denying these rumors, it’s not true,” Sink said. “I’ve seen the rumors, I don’t know where they came from. But as of now they’re not true.”

Although Sadie Sink has not yet been called in to work on an MCU project, she is certainly open to the idea. “If the right superhero comes along, then sure,” Sink said. “Who wouldn’t want to play a superhero?” “I don’t know enough about it to know which superheroes are available at the moment,” she continued. “How many are even left? I’ll keep my eye out, though.” For now, it is unclear whether Sadie Sink will be joining the MCU. In the meantime, there is a bigger chance that she will return in Stranger Things Season 5 despite Max’s terrible fate in the previous season. In Stranger Things Season 4, Max was set to be Vecna’s final victim but she was ultimately saved by Eleven and her friends. Unfortunately, Max’s injuries were tremendous and she was left in a coma in the final episode. Still, fans believe that Max will eventually recover and join the final fight against Vecna in the next season. All episodes of Stranger Things Season 4 are now streaming on Netflix. Stranger Things Season 5 has not yet been given an official release date.
