It was considered that Stranger Things will likely be released around late 2023, at earliest, before a confirmation was made that Season 5 begins filming ‘next year.’

Netflix Queue just confirmed that Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) will officially start filming Stranger Things’ last season‘ next year’ with the actress getting sentimental. It would be the last time the cast members will be working together on the set they grew up in, and Brown says, “That does break my heart.”

Stranger Things debuted back in 2016 with Will Byers going missing after a mysterious creature abducted him into, what the show likes to call it, the ‘Upside Down’ and ever since then, Hawkins had discovered an alternate dimension that had long existed in their town that must be stopped.

Seeing as season 4 ended with Eleven reuniting with the gang and Will Byers holding the back of his neck upon witnessing the upcoming storm, it is no unreachable feat that the focus will shift back to Will. On the first season, Will was the first boy to ever step into the Upside Down. Alone. Upon his return, the ending of Season 1 teased that the Upside Down has made a connection through Will’s body. On the second season, the ‘Mind Flayer’ had possessed him, turning him into a ‘Spy’ that told its ‘master’ where the kids were located. In this coming finale season, it looks like the revealed puppet master, Vecna, is planning to use Will once again for his own gains. Meanwhile, Millie Bobby Brown will be returning in Enola Holmes 2, set to be released on Netflix on November 4, 2022. Also Read: Stranger Things Spinoff: Everything We Know So Far
