Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown may not have won the Female TV Star of 2022 over Grey Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo, but co-star Noah Schnapp wins the people’s choice for Male TV Star, which declares the show winning five People’s Choice Awards out of 14 nominations, with the most highlighted win from Schnapp’s first nomination and PCA.
Noah Schnapp tops the PCA over Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson (Young Rock), Ewan McGregor (Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi), Ice-T (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Jason Bateman (Ozark), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight), and Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us).
As for Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2022, Stranger Things has won out over House of the Dragon, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Marvel’s Moon Knight as well as She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. Stranger Things also won The Show of 2022 over Abbott Elementary, This Is Us and Better Call Saul.
There is no question as to how Noah Schnapp has earned his People’s Choice Award, seeing as the 18-year-old actor has been playing Will Byers since 2016, further proving his acting skills when Stranger Things Season 2 came out as Will was haunted by the creature in the Upside Down. As it so happens, Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 2’s ending has teased an even bigger role for Will to take over in its final season.
You can expect Noah Schnapp to reprise his role as Will Byers on Stranger Things Season 5, expected to be released on Netflix sometime in 2024.
