Speculation surrounding Kenobi’s sexuality immediately became a hot topic on social media after an excerpt from the novel featured a scene where the future Jedi Master was being tempted by a teenage boy named Casul. According to the novel, Obi-Wan had a brief moment of self-doubt before coming to terms with his commitment to the Jedi code. When Bounding Into Comics published a full breakdown of the prequel-era novel, fans quickly stormed Twitter to share their thoughts on the possibility of Obi-Wan either becoming bisexual or asexual in the Star Wars canon.
