ComicBook.com has confirmed that all ten Star Trek movies are moving to HBO Max this coming November 1. However, there is no word regarding how long will they stay in the service before presumably moving back again to Paramount+ at a future date. The titles that are included in the list are Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, and Star Trek: Nemesis.
Meanwhile, the 2009 Star Trek film and its sequel Star Trek Into Darkness are still streaming on Paramount+ alongside the TV shows in the franchise while Star Trek Beyond is streaming on AMC+. In case you’re wondering, their exit from Paramount+ was due to the pre-existing licensing deal that started prior to the launch of the streaming service. Just like in most cases, it is expected to return sometime in the future. It is great to hear that the movies have found their new home since some fans have been patiently waiting for any news regarding their new streaming home since the only way to watch them at the moment is through VOD platforms or purchasing their physical media.
