In the same interview, the producers continue to explain that Spider-Verse 2 is the continuation from the first Spider-Verse film, which will also continue to feature Miles in his coming-of-age journey as “he is going through different phases in his life.”
Shameik Moore will return as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacey, Jake Johnson will reprise his role as Peter B. Parker. Other actors part of Across the Spider-Verse are Issa Rae as Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman) and Moon Knight’s Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man from 2099.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) will be released on June 2, 2023.
