All this time, everyone thought of Titania being the main villain of the series but as it turns out, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law has more cards in the game as they just introduced a controversial group as late as Episode 6 of the series. Who are they?
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law: Who Are The Intelligencia?
Aside from Jen attending a wedding which happens to be at an inconvenient time in the series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 6 also ha a sub-plot about a divorce case involving Mr. Immortal who kills himself off to get out of a relationship, sounds macabre, right? As it turns out, Mr. Immortal got caught by his previous spouses whom he left after he turned up at a website called “Intelligencia.” It’s a headache for Mallory Book and thankfully, Nikki is there to sort things out by listening to what each of the ex-spouses would want. Celebrating their small win on the case of Mr. Immortal, Nikki and Mallory go to the site of Intelligencia and see a lot of hate comments about She-Hulk, worse, there are also death threats. While Mallory thought it would be best to leave it be without Jen knowing, the bestie Nikki couldn’t do that!

By the end of the episode, there is a user of Intelligencia named “HulkKing” and he communicates with a laboratory of scientists who, surprisingly, has the syringe that the Wrecking Crew used. Worse, the conversation indicates that they’re preparing another special syringe for Jen’s blood. In She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 7, it turns out Josh, the guy Jen liked at the wedding of Lulu, is actually HulkKing and he made Jen fall in love with him to clone her phone, take her photo whilst naked and asleep, and possibly got a sample of her blood, too! Intelligencia may be some “website for hateful man babies,” but in the comics, it appeared as a group of the smartest supervillains from the Fall of the Hulks by Paul Pelletier and Jeff Parker in 2009. They do evil things that would benefit them all such as Red She-Hulk, Amadeus Cho, and A-Bomb. Unfortunately, it’s not the same Intelligencia in the comics which is composed of really intelligent supervillains. It’s just a group of misogynists who hates women for, literally, being women, and possibly insecure that some of the women are stronger than them like She-Hulk or Lady Thor. In the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, HulkKing is revealed to be Todd Phelps, the one who created the Intelligencia website, and the members are exclusively men who calls themselves “bro,” and they hold meetings at Emil Blonsky’s place. Abomination also comes in for some inspirational talk. It is probably the same reason how the got the Wrecking Crew to do some dirty job on trying to take Jen’s blood but it is Josh who successfully did that for them as he was hired by Todd to get Jen’s blood for himself saying he earned it. Well, Jen completely deleted that sequence when she broke the fourth wall of all fourth walls. Todd went straight into jail and Jen gets to clear her name as they proceed into trial for the Intelligencia’s defamation on her. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is now streaming on Disney Plus.
