Season 2 of the mystery anime covers the main characters’ investigation about the identity of the enigmatic Master Robe - but there’s much more rebellion going on in later chapters so you might want to check out the manga instead of waiting for the potential Season 3.
About the Shadows House Manga
Shadows House is a dark fantasy manga written and illustrated by the duo Sho-Ma-To. If you’re new to the manga, the aesthetics and concept are bound to draw you in! Emilyko, a young girl, serves in the mysterious Shadows House as a “living doll.” All the residents of the house are Shadows - human-shaped but completely dark and featureless - each of whom is attended by a human with the exact same shape. Young Shadow children and their living dolls are kept in their own rooms, separate from the adults until a Shadow master and a living doll can demonstrate compatibility and coordination - or die trying. Emilyko and Kate form a close bond. As the sinister truths of the Shadows House reveal themselves, the pair decides to fight for a life where their different but complimentary personalities will both be allowed to shine. But as Emilyko, Kate, and their friends try to escape the horrible fate that awaits them, they upset the house’s precarious balance, putting themselves in the spotlight and risking everything they hold dear.
