The episode takes place before Albedo went on to the Re-Estize Kingdom for diplomatic relations. Ainz has been nagging Albedo about her safety, much to the latter’s delight. Aside from the world-level item, Ginnungagap, Ainz also kissed Albedo on the cheek. Surprisingly, Ainz has been relatively concerned about Albedo. Ainz has been accommodating to her requests, from allowing her to sit on his lap to granting her request for a kiss. Is Ainz having feelings for Albedo? We can’t be certain because Ainz is an undead with the passive ability to suppress his strong emotions. In any case, the third episode gave us a glimpse of the Slane Theocracy’s situation. The Cardinals have been discussing Ainz Ooal Gown’s threat to the people. According to the thousand leagues astrologer, Ainz’s strength is incredible and resembles that of a God. To make matters worse, Ainz possesses a powerful magic spell capable of instantly eliminating 130,000 soldiers. The Slane Theocracy will not be able to defeat Ainz. They can only seek assistance from the two God-kins and the Black Scriptures. They were also talking about the possibility of Ainz, Demiurge, Shalltear, and the Adventurer Momon collaborating. Unbeknownst to them, they are truly joining forces to achieve the same goal. The discussion concluded with a plan to form an alliance with Jircniv, the Baharuth Emperor. Jircniv’s plans, however, were thwarted before they even began by the unexpected appearance of Ainz Ooal Gown. Thus, the Slane Theocracy became uninterested and suspicious of Jircniv. They thought Jircniv had set them up. Despite his pleas, the Cardinals of the Slane Theocracy left Jircniv to oversee Ainz’s upcoming one-on-one battle with the Warrior King of the Baharuth Empire. Will Jircniv’s efforts be in vain? Will Jircniv lose his mind?
