Overlord 4 Episode 11 Recap
The episode begins with King Ramposa III realizing that the Re-Estize Kingdom has fallen. They have not only lost contact with their troops, but Prince Zanac has also vanished. To save some of his subjects, King Ramposa III orders his servants to flee the castle. While his subjects flee, King Ramposa III intends to remain on their behalf and welcome the Sorcerer King as the kingdom’s final ruler. Meanwhile, Cocco Doll complains about his current situation at Hilma Cygnaeus’ house. He thinks it’s unfair that everyone associated with the Eight Fingers is in the other room while he’s left behind. On the other hand, Hilma and the others persuade him to stay and meet the emissary of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Cocco Doll is perplexed as to why everyone is so nice to him. They rescued a washed-up person like him despite the fact that he had lost everything, including his power and connections. He begins questioning Hilma and the others about their motivations for being so gracious to him. Hilma simply responds that they are comrades who help one another. Cocco Doll exclaims, upon hearing Hilma’s response, that Hilma and the others have changed. He can’t believe it. From their behavior to the moment they all went on a diet at the same time. Shalltear unexpectedly appears, informing everyone that she has traveled all the way to the residence to retrieve everyone before the Sorcerer Kingdom destroys the royal capital. She also directed everyone to gather and assemble at the same time. Shalltear cast her Gate spell, bringing everyone in front of Nazarick. Shalltear dragged Cocco Doll by the ear before leaving, knowing he was a former Eight Fingers executive. Hilma and the others sigh in disbelief as they realize they will not be able to save Cocco Doll from the clutches of Kyohukou, the Area Guardian of the Black Capsule on the second floor of Nazarick. While this is unfortunate for Cocco Doll, Hilma and the others believe that after staying in Kyohukous’ room, Cocco Doll will see and understand how wonderful Ainz Ooal Gown is. The army led by Cocytus set out in the morning for yet another attack on Re-Estize. In preparation for the battle, Ainz began casting spells on himself, ranging from Delay Teleportation to Body of Effulgent Beryl, Life Essence, and Mana Essence. With Albedo wearing her Hermes Trismegistus armor, the two of them prepare for the attack of Azuth Aindra, one of Red Drop’s members. Azuth does indeed appear in the sky, smirking inside his red power suit. Ainz instructs Albedo not to kill Azuth before engaging the enemy. Following Azuth’s display of prowess in E-Naeurl, Ainz wishes to gather intelligence. The battle begins when Azuth unleashes a chain of lightning on Ainz’s army of Death Knights and Death Warriors. Azuth vanquished Ainz’s troops in an instant. Azuth’s attack was followed by a fireball, which was ineffective against Ainz and Albedo. Albedo began chasing Azuth through the skies, imagining how fast she could go if she could ride a War Bicorn. Albedo, for those who are unaware, cannot ride a War Bicorn due to her purity. Nonetheless, Albedo thinks Azuth is a fool to think she can’t see through his plan. Azuth will entice Albedo far enough so that his other comrades can ambush her. Azuth abruptly comes to halt mid-air and launches a ballistic attack against Albedo with no magical power. Albedo analyzes Azuth’s moves while he switches to magic spells. Both attacks had no effect on Albedo, not even a scratch. Albedo launched her counter-attack by slamming into Azuth’s red-powered suit. She was astounded to learn that Azuth was as frail as a piece of tofu. After all of their preparations, Albedo is disheartened to face a weak and immature opponent. She begins insulting Azuth for his rude treatment of Ainz. Azuth responded by telling Albedo that they were the true monsters who slaughtered innocent people and destroyed cities. Ainz, on the other hand, is expecting Albedo to return. When a platinum-clad warrior appeared behind Ainz, he used his Explode Mine spell. It turns out that it was Tsaindorcus Vaision, also known as Riku Aganeia, the Platinum Dragon Lord. Ainz used his Life Essence spell to scan his opponent. He discovered that his opponent had a lot of HP remaining but no mana. Ainz concludes that his opponent is merely a common warrior whose physical attacks are ineffective. To Ainz’s surprise, the Platinum Dragon Lord used some of its HP to activate the World Isolating Barrier. Regardless, Ainz reintroduced himself and inquired about his opponent’s name. Following that, Ainz recalls a fond memory of one of the 13 heroes donning a set of platinum armor. If he recalls correctly, the hero’s name was Riku Aganeia. Instead of fighting, Ainz invited Riku to serve under his banner. If Riku accepts his offer, Ainz would be willing to halt the Kingdom’s invasion in its tracks. Riku, on the other hand, ignored and rejected Ainz’s proposal. Riku lost some HP with his Cloak of Light, which concerns Ainz. He decided to use his Greater Teleportation spell, but it failed after the barrier Riku had previously cast stopped him. Ainz concludes that the barrier, including physical objects, cannot allow him to escape. Ainz cast his Body of Effulgent Beryl spell once more as Riku attacked him from behind. Ainz then used Knock Back and told Riku that his physical attacks would not work on him again. Riku’s only response to Ainz is that he will perish inside the barrier. This enrages Ainz, prompting him to cast his Twin Magic: Obsidian Swords spell, which Riku manages to avoid. Riku then launched a series of attacks on Ainz, who used magic spells ranging from Wall of Skeleton to Blasting Staff to Grasp Heart, all of which failed. The fight between Ainz and Riku continues, with the latter gaining the upper hand. Ainz concludes, based on his observations, that someone is controlling the set of armor in front of him. To counter Riku, Ainz cast his Summon Undead Tenth spell, summoning the Doom Lord. While the Doom Lord battles Riku, Ainz assesses his current situation. For Ainz, Riku is at level 90, a tank character that focuses on close-quarters combat. He also sees Riku’s HP and concludes that his weapons are a part of him. Thanks to the Doom Lord, Ainz was able to gather intel against Riku. To top it all off, Ainz summons an undead in the form of the Elemental Skull. According to Ainz, the Elemental Skull can use magic from all four elements, which Riku cannot negate. However, Riku launched an attack before Ainz could use the powers of the Elemental Skull. As a result, Ainz unexpectedly fell to his knees and bowed in front of Riku. He attempted to persuade Riku by justifying his actions in the Re-Estize Kingdom. Riku, on the other hand, has decided to finish off Ainz. Fortunately, Albedo arrives just in time to rescue Ainz from his predicament. Before Riku left, Ainz invited him to deflect and serve under his banner. Riku, on the other hand, fled to Azuth’s location. They both exchanged details about their fights with Albedo and Ainz. Riku explains that Ainz couldn’t break through the barrier, whereas Albedo did. Only primordial magic and world-level items are capable of breaching the barrier. Hence, he surmised that Ainz is the NPC and Albedo is the player. Before the episode ends, Azuth reveals that Riku is one of the world’s strongest dragon lords. Riku also believes that he can defeat Ainz in a one-on-one fight based on their previous encounter. Unfortunately for Azuth and Riku, their opponent was not Ainz. Pandora’s actor was the one who fought on Ainz’s behalf. Finally, Ainz requests that Pandora’s actor inform him of all his intel about Riku Aganeia.
