In a recent interview with Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron in Outer Banks, she seemingly slips the release date of Outer Banks Season 3. The interview was shown in a viral Tiktok video from user @relayts, and as you can see in the video, Cline says that Season 3 is coming soon before revealing OBX 3’s release date. She says that it’s coming in February 23, before looking to the person next to her for confirmation. The 24-year-old actress then second-guesses herself, asking, “February 22?” before the person presumably tells her the date has not been officially announced.
The Outer Banks star looks shocked to realize what she leaked before the clip comes to an end. So if Cline is right, fans could expect OBX Season 3 to arrive on either Wednesday, Feb. 22 or Thursday, Feb. 23. However, Netflix hasn’t officially confirmed this date. It’s possible that the streamer is planning to release it in either of those dates, but there’s a chance that they could change it, just like how it recently moved the release date for its upcoming anime Lookism following the Itaewon Halloween tragedy. Outer Banks Season 3 already wrapped filming in September 2022, so it’s likely that the show is still completing its post-production stage before Netflix actually confirms an official release date.
