One of the actors that recently joined the cast is Homeland and Better Call Saul actress Sandrine Holt. According to Deadline, she is likely to play a love interest of Wilson Fisk although it is unknown whether it’s a new original character, a recast from the original series, or a character that was introduced in the comics. Ever since Holt’s casting was confirmed, several rumors and speculations started to spread around the internet about her role with one of them being Jessán Hoan/Tyger Tiger based on a recent report from Murphy’s Multiverse, especially in lieu of another rumor that claims that Holt will play a South Asian character.
In case you’re not familiar with the character, she is based in Madripool, a location that was already introduced in the MCU on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and has close ties with Wolverine in the comics. Considering her background and personality, she can be a close associate of Wilson Fisk in the series to help him with his business through money laundering. So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed any of the rumors and speculations regarding Holt’s role in the series so have to take everything here with a grain of salt for now. If she does end up playing Tyger Tiger, it will be an interesting character for her to tackle, and let’s wait and see how she could play into the story. Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Michael Gandolfini, and Margarita Levieva are also confirmed to star. Matt Corman and Chris Ord serve as the head writers of the new series. Production will reportedly begin in February 2023 in New York City. The first season is expected to run for 18 episodes.
