This means series fans can get to watch the next season right at the start of Fall 2022. While there is no official announcement yet from TOHO or Bones regarding the series’ premiere date, the source is a reliable leaker that has accurate anime and manga release date reports. Given this, expect to see an official release date announcement soon, possibly during the upcoming My Hero Academia Ultra Event HERO FES. 2022 that’s happening on Sunday, July 24. Most My Hero Academia seasons start with a recap episode, and fans are speculating that season 6 won’t be an exception. If the first episode that will air on October 1 turns out to be a recap of season 5, fans who want new content might have to wait until October 8. Fans in Japan won’t have to wait too long though as it is reported that the series’ first episode will be shown at the HERO FES 2022 event. My Hero Academia is an anime series by Bones that’s based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. The ongoing manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. As for the anime, the first season consisted of just 13 episodes and aired from April to June 2016. The subsequent seasons were 2 cour and with 25 episodes. Given this, season 6 is also expected to have 25 episodes and run for two cours – from Fall 2022 to Winter 2023.
