Season 6 of My Hero Academia will premiere on October 1, 2022, confirming the rumored release date which was reported by several outlets. Aside from the Season 6 release date, a new key visual and two OVA episodes were also revealed during the event.

The new key visual was shared on the series’ official Twitter and is drawn by character designer Yoshihiko Magoshi. It features several members of Class-1A along with pro heroes, including Eraserhead, Endeavor, Hawks, and Mirko. At the top meanwhile are the members of the League of Villains, including Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, Twice, Dabi, Mr. Compress, and Spinner, among others.  HERO FES. 2022 happened yesterday, July 24 at the Musashino Forest Sport Plaza. The event featured appearances by over 15 voice actors from the series who performed live dubbing and drama reading. A special pre-screening of the sixth season’s first episode was also held at the event.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Info, OVA Release Date

My Hero Academia is an anime series by studio Bones that’s based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. The TV anime started with a 13-episode first season back in 2016. Given the first season’s popularity, the subsequent season all had 25 episodes that were shown in 2 cours. While there’s no official word yet, season 6 is expected to also get 25 episodes. Season 6 adapts the Paranormal Liberation War arc of the manga. This arc promises to be one of the biggest of the series as it features an all-out war between the pro heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front led by Tomura Shigaraki.
