Recently, there have been rumors that the series has been given a greenlight for a second season although Marvel Studios has not made any confirmation or official announcement regarding it. Now, the rumor continues to heat up thanks to a recent social media post from the directors. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who helmed two episodes and served as one of the executive producers of Ms. Marvel, recently posted on Instagram an interview clip of them discussing the series alongside the caption, “Just reminiscing on our time spent in the MCU, who’s ready for season 2?!”
The duo’s caption in their post prompted a lot of speculations from fans that they are hinting that a second season of the series is on its way and they might be potentially involved in it again. Considering that Marvel Studios has not made any confirmation on the renewal, we can’t definitely say that the duo was indicating that the series has been renewed. There’s a chance that their caption also doesn’t say anything and they’re just hyping up the fans to see if there are interested in the series having a second season. It also comes as the duo recently hit a bump as their movie Batgirl was canceled by Warner Bros. despite already being deep in post-production. Now that they have no other superhero project on their hands, there is a strong likelihood that they’ll be involved in the second season if it ever happens. For now, let’s just wait for any official confirmation from Marvel Studios whether they have plans to do a second season of the series, which would be the second time that it will happen in the MCU after Loki.
