Matt Smith Breaks Silence on Morbius Discouraging Backlash
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Smith admitted that Morbius was indeed “thrown under the bus” by viewers and critics but clarified that he and his co-stars had no choice but to move forward.
In a previous interview with Comicbook.com, Smith opened up about the time when a fan surprised him with the famous “It’s Morbin Time,” Jared Leto’s phrase in the film that hilariously made its way across the internet as a meme after the film’s release.
When asked how his Morbius character, Milo, would fit in Westeros due to his involvement in the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, Smith shared a short yet genuine response.
Despite Smith’s confusion about his character in the film, fans still praised the actor for carrying the film, praising his performance as a menacing antagonist.
