During an interview with Variety at D23, Bo-Katan Kryze actress confirmed that Lucasfilm is already planning The Mandalorian’s end. While she didn’t exactly reveal how many more seasons fans can expect out of the show, Sackhoff said that they are very much aware. She teased: “You know, I have been told, but we’ll just have to wait and see if that happens.“When asked if it’s the amount of seasons she expected, Katee responded: “Yes. Yes. (laughs) The good thing with Dave [Filoni] and Jon [Favreau] is that they’re constantly expanding this world, and I don’t think that Star Wars fans will be lacking for content any time soon.“Also Read: The Mandalorian Season 4 Reportedly Already in Production Months Ahead of Season 3 ReleaseAs it stands, Lucasfilm has yet to address the future of the show but we can confirm that a fourth season will be happening with some reports even claiming that production is under way.While I understand that most fans would like to see the show expand and run for a couple more seasons, I think I’d rather see it end at a high note than see the show’s quality decline which is typically what happens to projects that run for more than four seasons.The Mandalorian’s third season is expected to hit Disney+ in February 2023.
