Well, not all fan-casts happen. The MCU is still silent on casting roles that would be pivotal in the future of the franchise like that of the Fantastic Four reboot but there are still no official names attached to the characters. The mutants are slowly being introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with various teases on different titles such as in Ms. Marvel with Kamala Khan’s possible mutation, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with Professor X appearing, and in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law with an Easter egg on Wolverine. To date, there has been no project announced on the current slate of the MCU through Phases Four to Six on the sole title for mutants but given the Multiverse Saga coming in, anything is possible to happen.
