After making its official debut on August 5, Carter ranked first in 18 countries including the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Peru, South Korea, Vietnam, and more. As for its ratings in online databases for movies and series, the Netflix series scores 5.2 ratings IMDb while Carter got 43 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Joo Won’s Transformation as Agent Carter in the Netflix Movie
The 34-year-old actor surprised viewers with his unrecognizable transformation as he plays a skilled agent in Carter. In a report cited by Korea Herald, Joo Won shared the preparations he did for his comeback movie which includes gaining 7kg and shaving his head which was the first time he did. “I changed my appearance a lot. So after the shooting was over, it was especially hard for me to get out of the character,” he revealed. Apart from it, he spent four months of intense training and monitoring his diet in preparation for his challenging role.
