It is highly unlikely that a Marvel movie will not have any post-credits scene and this remains to be true even with the series that they have. For Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, there is only one but it will definitely touch your hearts. Here’s what happened, explained.
Is There A Post-Credits Scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Explained
While usually there are two, the makers of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever deemed it best to have only one, and this time, it isn’t teasing the succeeding film, but rather, it is a heartwarming scene that continues the legacy of Chadwick Boseman, at the same time, it opens doors for the future. The ending of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has Shuri finally getting to move on from the deaths of T’Challa and Queen Ramonda as she sits at a beach in Haiti as she takes a break with Nakia who offered her a home away from Wakanda. The post-credits scene of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a continuation of that scene. Still on the same beach, Shuri is taking in how hard it is to move on but she is finally ready, Nakia, too, is ready to introduce someone to Shuri – Toussaint.

Nakia reveals the reason why she isn’t at the funeral of T’Challa, it is because of Toussaint, her son with the late king, whom they mutually agreed to keep away from Wakanda so that he wouldn’t experience the pressure of the throne in his young age. T’Challa knew his time was near and he prepared his family for what is to come, and that is the reason why Nakia couldn’t arrive at T’Challa’s wake. Nakia and Toussaint just had their own ceremony in Haiti. As Toussaint realized that Shuri could be trusted, he shared to Shuri is big secret. His name to the outside world may be Toussaint, but his Wakandan name is a legacy itself, he is Prince T’Challa, son of King T’Challa and Nakia. This brings two points to the MCU: First point, the legacy of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther lives on. They need not recast him to continue with T’Challa, instead, here comes the second point, they just brought in a new one! Along with the second point comes the fact that this T’Challa could continue the original plans of Marvel for the character, while Shuri may be Black Panther, she could pass it on to T’Challa. He may even be the husband of Storm, like in the comics, especially now that mutants are coming into the MCU. Meet the new T’Challa in the MCU in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, now in theaters worldwide.
