The Takeover Story
The official synopsis of The Takeover reads: “Framed for murder after uncovering a privacy scandal, an ethical hacker must evade the police while trying to track down the criminals blackmailing her.” The film is directed by Annemarie van de Mond and follows the life of Mel Bandison (played by Holly Mae Brood), a brilliant self-proclaimed hacker. Mel manages to unearth a private scandal, which gets her embroiled in a deadly conspiracy. She is hunted down by the police after being framed for murder. It is up to her to clear her name, avoid the police, and look for the criminals who have targeted her.
