What Is Silent Night Story About?
Silent Night follows the story of a wealthy heiress named Nell (played by Keira Knightley) as she hosts a traditional Christmas dinner for her family. The tradition is the family’s last one since a deadly toxin is spreading around the world, ending all life along its way. Nell’s family have just a few hours before the cloud arrives to kill them all. As their fate hangs on a thread, each one starts to reveal their dark secrets. Each one must now deal with the existential crisis they are facing and any chance they have at survival. Despite the film having similarities to COVID, it’s actually about climate change. Writer-director Camille Griffin successfully left behind the question of what we are leaving behind for the future generation.
