With the Marvel special presentation, Werewolf By Night, will Moon Knight arrive Considering their deep comic book history, these two characters are usually linked to one another and it is expected by many to see them both at once?

Is Moon Knight Appearing in Werewolf by Night?

A quick answer to that is no, Moon Knight didn’t appear in Marvel’s special presentation Werewolf by Night. Despite the rich history between the two and their connection to each other, there are no hints about Moon Knight in the special. The debut of Moon Knight in the comics happened in Werewolf By Night #32, that, in itself, already establishes a connection between the two characters. Looking at how Jack Russell turns into a werewolf, it is triggered by a phase of the moon, a full moon, which is well within the abilities of Moon Knight, changing the moon into different phases and he could even turn the night sky into a different date. Still, it should be noted that the timeline when exactly Werewolf by Night happened remains ambiguous and it may be set at a time when Steven Grant isn’t Khonshu’s avatar yet, or it is possible that they just haven’t met yet.

The narrative of Werewolf by Night also didn’t need the introduction of Moon Knight as his presence may overshadow who are being introduced in the Marvel special presentation. It is mostly leaning into introducing who Jack Russell is and what he could be which made him capable of having more than a hundred kills, Elsa Bloodstone who prevails in the end as she gets the Bloodstone, and Man-Thing, a being that could be pivotal in the future of the MCU. Werewolf by Night also didn’t feature Blade, another character which may be connected to the title given that the presentation includes monsters, and Blade is a hunter himself, of vampires, making him on the same page as that of Elsa Bloodstone. Werewolf by Night is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.
