Christmas With You Spoiler Up Ahead
Garcia pays Angelina, an internationally-renowned Latina pop star who is struggling to find inspiration and stay relevant amidst a very competitive music industry. With more younger singers joining the mix, Angelina finds herself in a rut, learning she has to write a hit Christmas song or her record label will drop her. Enter Cristina (played by Deja Monique Cruz), Angelina’s young fan who posts a short cover of one of Angelina’s songs that hold a special place in her heart. Cristina’s father, Miguel, is a widower and a music teacher in the local high school. He is a closet composer, writing music on his spare time but never sharing it with the world. After a disappointing day, Angelina decides to make Cristina’s come true by visiting her in her high school. One thing led to another, and Angelina and her manager, Monique (played by Zenzi Williams) found themselves in Miguel and Cristina’s home, where they spent a couple of nights because of a snowstorm. Angelina finds Miguel’s songs which spark a musical collaboration, and a love connection, that changes their destinies forever.
