From looking for her to finding her, Eden has been a special one especially for Ben but to everyone’s surprise, she also has Callings and she could connect to her father through it, despite not being a passenger of Flight 828, how is that possible in Manifest Season 4?
How Does Eden Get Callings Despite Not Being a Passenger in Manifest Season 4?
Manifest Season 4 is definitely full of surprises. From its cancellation to finding a new home on Netflix, it has so much to promise especially with the answers to everyone’s burning questions from the previous seasons. One of which is Eden, the child of Ben and Grace. In Season 3, Eden was abducted by Angelina and on the same day, Angelina brutally murdered Grace by stabbing her. With the time jump in Manifest Season 4 being two years, that makes Eden older, too, and yes, they found her after the long search. The toddler, surprisingly, experiences Callings. Eden could even communicate with her father through it. While the theory on Callings being genetic could be given some point, it all boils down to where Callings come from.

When everyone thought that there should be “the glow” before one can have Callings, it isn’t where it comes from. There’s a divine consciousness that could even send Callings to anyone but given that Eden is deeply connected to Ben, a passenger, hers is special. Eden’s Callings may be the divine consciousness’ way of stopping the Death Date from happening, and possibly, stopping the apocalypse as well. At this point, she essentially takes the place of her brother, Cal, in the narrative, like the child who brings forth important information for all. While Eden’s disappearance is unlike Cal who touched the tailfin, she could be a key to finally understanding what happened to Flight 828 and “ALNI” could be one of the key clues that Eden brings to the table. What that means is a matter for Manifest Season 4 Part 2. Manifest Season 4 Part 1 is now streaming on Netflix. Part 2 has no release date yet.
