Appearing at the Fan Expo event in Boston (via ComicBook), the Star Wars legend finally addressed his much-talked-about reunion with Neeson, over 20 years after Episode I’s release. He shared: “Liam is a hero of mine. Liam has got to be, I don’t know, ten years, maybe a bit more, older than I. So when I was growing up and wanting to be an actor, I was always watching Liam Neeson’s work, and he was involved in some beautiful work as a younger actor.” Ewan continued: “And so to get the chance to work with him and to have this great relationship that we got to create together is fantastic, and to get the chance to work with himself again on the series right at the end.” Also Read: Star Wars: Ewan McGregor Confirms Obi-Wan Kenobi was Originally About Ben and Luke SkywalkerDespite the fact Lucasfilm has yet to green light Obi-Wan Kenobi for a second season, the show’s ending alone seems to be a dead giveaway that Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon’s Force Ghost will embark on a new journey together.
