Netflix just dropped the character posters of Enola Holmes 2 and each image puts a hint on what their connection to the story would be as the titular detective takes on a new journey stumbling upon a case that could be intertwined with that of her brother. Millie Bobby Brown is Enola Holmes with a magnifying glass behind her teasing her case, Henry Cavill is Sherlock Holmes with his pipe as he is known to smoke, and Helena Bonham Carter is Eudoria Holmes with makeshift bombs being the “mother of a movement.” Sharon Duncan-Brewster has match boxes behind her hinting that she runs the match factory, Abbie Hern and Serranna Su-Ling Bliss have match sticks in the background as they share a photo teasing their work at the factory, and David Thewlis has handcuffs and keys all around him.

Louis Partridge is Viscount Tewkesbury who has flower petals behind him showing his continuous romance with Enola, Susan Wokoma is Edit with burning papers behind her and written on it is “12 March,” and Adeel Akhtar is Lestrade who has the wanted poster of Eudoria Holmes in the background. Enola Holmes 2 will be the sequel to the 2020 film based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer. The sequel is directed by Harry Bradbeer and written by Jack Thorne. The production of the series began in Autumn 2021 and concluded in January this year. Enola Holmes 2 premieres on Netflix on November 4, 2022.
