Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Cameos Confirmed
It’s not Marvel if there are no cameo appearances. It is one of the most awaited parts of the film where fans look at the possibility of a known character making an appearance in a movie and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stayed true to its promise of bringing fan service at its finest with the cameo appearances in the film. First up, there are Billy and Tommy who first debuted in WandaVision and given that they are the motivation of Wanda to get to America Chavez and take her powers, their appearance in the film makes a ton of sense, right? Quite grown up now, Billy and Tommy are sought by Wanda and she gets to be with her children in a different universe. Then, there are the sorcerers of Kamar Taj. One notable sorcerer straight out of the comics is Rintrah, the minotaur and yes, he survived the battle at Kamar Taj so it’s possible for him to come back in the near future. Other sorcerers are Master Hamir, played by Topo Wresniwiro, and Sara and Charlie, who are portrayed by Sheila Atim and Ako Mitchell respectively. It was Sara who destroyed Wanda’s Darkhold, by the way.
The members of the Illuminati are the most awaited cameos in the film. Introduced by Baron Mordo of Earth 838, there is Captain Carter, played by Hayley Atwell; Black Bolt, the King of the Inhumans, portrayed by Anson Mount; Earth 838 Captain Marvel, Maria Rambeau, played by Lashana Lynch; Richard Reeds a.k.a. Mister Fantastic, portrayed by John Krasinski; and lastly, Professor Charles Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart. At the post-credits scene, a lot of fans were shocked to finally see Clea, the Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension and she is played by none other than Charlize Theron (perfect casting, by the way) as she tells Strange that an incursion happened and that he has to fix it. Since it is a Sam Raimi film, there will always be the cameo of Bruce Campbell and as promised, Raimi delivered with Campbell as Pizza Poppa from Earth 838 and he has the end-credits scene as his spotlight where the spell of Doctor Strange finally wears off and he laughs saying, “it’s over!” Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now in theaters.
