As of the current rate of the Disney+ plan, it is one of the cheapest streaming platform subscriptions. With the platform’s success with its beloved classics and originals, it has allowed Disney+ to grow its subscribers. In order to continue to increase its subscribers, it was announced earlier this year that Disney+ will be introducing an ad-supported tier to the platform. Disney is counting on most of its customers to go for the cheaper option.
Recently, Disney finally announced its pricing for the new ad-supported Disney+ plan. As reported by Variety, the current subscribers of Disney+ who wants to continue using the platform ad-free can sign-up for the Disney+ Premium plan of $10.99 per month or $109.99 annually. Disney+’s current $7.99 per month will become the ad-supported Disney+ Basic plan without an annual option. The Disney+ Bundles will also be increased in price, with multiple tier options including premium Disney+ and Hulu, ads supported, and ESPN+ as an add-on.

Disney+ will be launching its ad-supported plans and price increase on December 8, 2022.
