Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke’s Age and Birthday
At first, Tanjiro looked like he was still in his early teens, helping his family survive by selling coal. He is also the eldest child of the family which means he is older than Nezuko. This is not new as most shonen protagonists are fairly young but still take part in dangerous adventures. Such is what happened to Tanjiro when his family got massacred and his only surviving sister turned into a demon. The same goes for Zenitsu and Inosuke. Their actions and way of thinking clearly show that they are in their teenage years, but how old are these four main characters exactly?
Tanjiro Kamado – 13 years old (when Demon Slayer started), 15 years old (by Chapter 5), 16 (by the end of Chapter 204). His birthday is on July 14.Nezuko Kamado – 12 years old (when Demon Slayer started), 14 years old (by Episode 3 and onwards as she turned into a demon). Her birthday is on December 28.Zenitsu Agatsuma – 16 years old. His birthday is on September 3.Inosuke Hashibira – 15 years old. His birthday is on April 22.

Aside from the four main characters, the other popular characters are the different hashiras. They are loved by fans as they contribute a lot to the growth of Tanjiro and the rest of the main characters. So, without further ado, here are the ages and birthdays of the hashiras in Demon Slayer:
Muichiro Tokito – 14 years old. His birthday is on August 8.Shinobu Kocho – 18 years old. Her birthday is on February 24.
Giyu Tomioka – 19 years old (when Demon Slayer started), 21 years old (by Episode 15). His birthday is on February 8.
Mitsuri Kanroji – 19 years old. Her birthday is on June 1.Kyojuro Rengoku – 20 years old. His birthday is on May 10.Obanai Iguro – 21 years old. His birthday is on September 15.Tengen Uzui – 23 years old. His birthday is on October 31.Gyomei Himejima – 27 years old. His birthday is on August 23.
This tells us that Gyomei is the oldest among the hashiras while Muichiro is the youngest.
