It turns out that Maridueña has long been aware of the rumors and fan castings but he takes pride in the fact that DC cast him as the first live-action Latino superhero, something that the MCU obviously has yet to do.Xolo said: “I’ve heard that one before. And look, DC is the first one to pull the trigger on, ’let’s have a Latino superhero.’ So they’re talking the talk and walking the walk.“While he didn’t directly say if he’s down to playing Nova in the MCU, the actor admits that he’s going to be all eyes on the project which is said to be in development. Xolo added: “If that Nova project gets made soon, I’d love to see if there is a Sam Alexander Nova, I would love that. Getting more people in the door.
