This week, the DCU fandom was set ablaze when James Gunn seemingly hinted that Lobo is finally coming to the franchise. Just a day before the intriguing tease, Aquaman actor Jason Momoa hinted that DC Studios is working on his “dream” project and while he chose not to disclose it (for obvious reasons), fans went full-blown detective mode to piece everything together and according to their theory, it’s all connected. Now, in a shocking turn of events, the DCU fandom is now convinced that Jason is actually playing Lobo, a character he’s been quite interested in. Of course, given the nature of his current role as Arthur Curry, playing another character who exists in the same continuity seems a bit farfetched. However, people believe that Momoa is actually pulling double duty which in effect could make him the first actor to play two simultaneous roles in one franchise. What do you think?

Now, I don’t really think DC Studios will allow him to pull double duty but with the way things are going under the new regime, you can never say never.Meanwhile, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is hitting cinemas on December 25, 2023.
