Does Kei Like Kiyotaka?
Kei’s feelings toward Kiyotaka changed from being classmates to having mutual interest by Volume 4 of the light novel. It was in Volume 6 when she developed a crush on him, and it was obvious as she was bothered that Maya confessed to him and was glad that he rejected the said confession. Even when Kei discovered that Kiyotaka betrayed her, she still stayed by his side and believed him. By Volume 7.5, Kei officially admitted that she has fallen for him. However, she was torn because she was in charge of setting up Satou and Kiyotaka. In the end, she decided to suppress her feelings for the sake of her friend. What she did not expect was that Kiyotaka rejected Satou’s confession. Kei and Kiyotaka grew close as they continued working together, but Kei’s heart got broken when she saw that Kiyotaka was on a date with Hiyori Shiina. This made Kiyotaka confirm that Kei has feelings for him, which is why when Volume 11.5 came, he declared his love for Kei. The two officially dated, but their relationship was a secret. Their relationship wasn’t easy as they thought a lot of people got involved, mostly women. They eventually announced their relationship but Kiyotaka has a lot on his mind, considering his past. He just wishes that Kei will grow up and be able to handle herself while he faced his father. There are also other concerns, such as will Class 1D be able to move to Class A, and will Kei eventually end up with Kiyotaka?
