The actor first starred as the Man with No Fear in 3 seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil until it was canceled in 2018. Cox reprised his Daredevil role by his surprise cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home to help Peter Parker. His most recent return came on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as expected; the professional rival, soon-became partner, and love interest of Jennifer Walters.
Seeing as Maslany spoke about returning and with their characters hitting it off in She-Hulk, it is highly likely for Marvel to make their move and develop their relationship more in upcoming Marvel projects. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cox admitted hopes of having She-Hulk in Daredevil: Born Again. Read his quote below:
Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again was described as a reboot for the character, implying the show will focus on Daredevil’s return in his Marvel version origin story. It might take place before the events of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The show, however, is set with Vincent D’Onofrio returning for his role as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin in Hawkeye.
Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
