BTS RMReveals Lead Track of Solo Album Indigo
BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed on Friday (via The Korea Times) that his solo album Indigo would have the main track, which title translates as Wild Flower Play. The song reportedly explores RM’s wish to live like a calm like a flower and not be like a “flamboyant” flame that disappears sooner or later. Wild Flower Play will be one of the 10 tracks in the album. The other titles include Closer, Still Life, and All Day, to name a few. Meanwhile, other Korean and foreign artists who got featured in the album are Epik High’s Tablo, Mahaia, Anderson .Paak, and Erykah Badu. RM is scheduled to drop the album next week. “RM has achieved more than just collaboration with various musicians but one that goes beyond the boundaries of music and art. He contained his honest feelings, worries and various other thoughts in ‘Indigo,’ as he has always frankly told his story through his personal works,” his company said.
Cultural Heritage Administration Honors BTS RM
Ahead of his solo debut, RM received a plaque of appreciation from the Cultural Heritage Administration in South Korea. Sources said the recognition honored the K-pop idol for being an individual who “made significant contributions to the preservation of South Korea’s cultural heritage housed overseas, as well as in the garnering of global interest in Korean culture, through his continued interest, affection, and appreciation for our country’s history and cultural heritage." Last year, RM notably donated a whopping amount to the Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation. He extended his philanthropic works when he donated an additional amount to the Cultural Heritage Administration of South Korea.
