Meanwhile, Ichigo Kurosaki is able to dominate the fight against Quilge Opie in Hueco Mundo as the Quincy villain becomes furious that he can’t steal his Bankai. However, just when Ichigo is about to escape Hueco Mundo in order to help fight the Wandenreich in Soul Society, Quilge imprisons him inside a sphere of dimension. Now, new details have surfaced for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 5, and as the end of Episode 4 reveals, it will be titled Wrath as A Lightning, which might hint at the terrifying power of the Wandenreich, as the Quincy villains have already taken more several Bankais in their first invasion of Soul Society.
While the Sternritter’s ability to steal Bankai is a huge problem to the Shinigami protecting Soul Society as they heavily rely on their Bankais’ power to defeat their enemies, it’s still not hopeless. Thankfully, a major fighter on the Soul Reapers’ side just happens to not rely on a Bankai for his fights, so we’ll likely see Kenpachi get involved in the war against the Wandenreich soon. The official website of Bleach will likely release more screenshots for Episode 5 later this week, so expect more updates for the anime soon. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 4 is set to release on Monday, November 7, 2022. Make sure to check out our streaming guide and release time for the latest episode of Bleach: TYBW.
