As per The Hollywood Reporter, Kaluuya is voicing the character who made his official Marvel debut in 2015, created by Dan Slott and Olivier Coipel. Key details about the film’s plot are still reportedly being kept under wraps. Meanwhile, Kaluuya isn’t the only Marvel Cinematic Universe actor pulling double duty in the film. In fact, both Hailee Steinfeld (Spider-Gwen/Kate Bishop) and Oscar Isaac (Spider-Man 2099/Moon Knight) also appear in the animated sequel.In case you weren’t aware, the British actor previously appeared in Black Panther as W’Kabi, T’Challa’s best friend turned bitter adversary but scheduling conflicts prevented him from reprising the role in Wakanda Forever. Now, he’s Marvel-bound yet again in Across the Spider-Verse. It’ll be interesting to see if W’Kabi will somehow make his way back to Earth-616 in the future but it’s worth noting that director Ryan Coogler pretty much confirmed that the forthcoming MCU flick addresses W’Kabi’s status in the billion-dollar franchise.Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits cinemas on November 11th.
